Lt. Governor Jon Husted recently announced Buckeye Hills Career Center as one of 16 IMAP training providers in Ohio. These providers will collectively receive $7.1 million through the Individual Microcredential Assistance Program (IMAP) to offer technology-focused credential training at no cost to participants.
“We are proud to share that the Award-Winning Buckeye Hills Career Center has been chosen as an IMAP Training Provider,” said Mr. Jamie Nash, BHCC Superintendent. “This recognition reflects our commitment to excellence and alignment with Ohio’s in-demand jobs. Together, we are shaping the future and empowering our students to succeed.”
The training providers announced included career centers, four-year universities, two-year colleges, and private providers.
“Career credentials show that someone has the skills and know-how to get the job done right, giving businesses confidence in hiring them,” said Lt. Governor Husted, Director of the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation. “For the person earning them, credentials open doors to better opportunities, providing for higher pay and more job security.”
