A significant construction project will begin this week at the main campus of the Award-Winning Buckeye Hills Career Center. This project is part of our long-term plan to improve facilities and services, and it is expected to continue for approximately 12 months.
What to Expect
Operational Impact
The construction will affect all areas of campus operations. We are committed to maintaining access and safety throughout this process, but there will be temporary changes and occasional disruptions.
Parking Adjustments
Several parking areas will be closed or partially blocked at various times. Alternative parking zones will be clearly marked, and we will provide ongoing updates as these change throughout the project timeline.
Drop-Off Locations
Drop-off and pick-up points may be relocated periodically to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow. Please follow directional signage and staff guidance when arriving on campus.
Sidewalk Access and Flow Patterns
Expect changes to pedestrian routes around the campus. Temporary sidewalks, detours, and safety barriers will be installed as needed. These patterns will be adjusted regularly in response to construction phases.
We understand this may present some inconvenience, and we greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation. Our goal is to complete this project with minimal disruption while making meaningful improvements to our campus infrastructure. We will continue to share updates, maps, and reminders throughout the construction period via email, campus signage, and our website.
If you have any questions or require special accommodations, please do not hesitate to contact our office at 740.245.5334. Thank you for your attention and support as we undertake this important work!
