Program Description
The goal of the Phlebotomy program is to prepare the student to work as an entry level Phlebotomist.
Credential Potential
Students completing the program are eligible to take the National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NCPT) Exam provided by the National Center for Competency Testing.
Completers of the program can seek employment with local hospitals, physician’s offices, private laboratories, or insurance companies.

Phlebotomy is an Adult Diploma Eligible Program for any individual who does not have a high school diploma or equivalent, is at least 18 years of age and is an Ohio resident. Please call the Adult Education Office @ 740-245-5334 for more information.
Upon entrance to the program the following will be required: a BCI and FBI background check and a drug screen must be taken (a felony or positive drug screen can prevent the student from continuing in the program).

78 hours of classroom instruction – on campus.
72 hours of clinical instruction – off site.
Students are responsible for transportation.Strict attendance is required
