Program Description
The program prepares the student in basic nursing skills necessary to deliver care in a variety of healthcare settings.
Clinicals are held off site and may include some evenings and weekends. Students are responsible for transportation.
Credential Potential
At completion of the program, the student will be eligible to sit for the NCLEX-PN licensure exam.
Admission
Online enrollment starts in February for the Full-time program. Prior to acceptance, prospective students must complete 8 hours of job shadowing, 24 hours of Intro to Nursing class and obtain the required WorkKeys scores (Applied Math – 5, Graphic Literacy – 4, Workplace Documents – 5). After successful completion of all three prerequisites, you will be required to attend an informational session. Click here for more info.

Both programs will cover the same curriculum.
The program runs from January 2024 to December 2024 or September 2024 to September 2025 (1,382 clock hours, including 504 hours of clinical). Classes meet days, Monday through Friday. Clinicals are held 8 hours a day off-site and include some evenings and weekends. Students are responsible for their own transportation. Strict attendance is required.
