Program Overview:
The HVAC program offers a comprehensive education in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, equipping students with the skills to select, assemble, and maintain various components. Through hands-on learning, students will gain expertise in heating and cooling systems, focusing on the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of residential and commercial HVAC/R systems. The curriculum includes training in sheet metal work, teaching students to interpret construction drawings and fabricate ductwork systems. Additionally, students will delve into HVAC refrigeration, covering the principles of thermodynamics, refrigerant management, and the servicing of diverse refrigeration systems. This program prepares students for successful careers in the HVAC industry by providing a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Students have the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials and college credit.
