Program Overview:

The Ag & Heavy Equipment Technician program is designed for students interested in occupations relating to the maintenance and repair of agricultural, diesel, and small engines and equipment. Students are provided with experience that will help them understand the mechanical operations and capabilities of equipment and the appropriate methods and procedures for the care and service of various types of engine, equipment and machinery. The program covers shop procedures and operations, setup and repair of heavy equipment, lawn and garden equipment, agricultural/industrial machinery, and off-road power equipment. Students have the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials and college credit.
