Students learn to inspect, diagnose and repair the mechanical, electrical and electronic systems of modern automobiles. Lab experience also provides learning opportunities in engine performance, brakes, steering, suspension, and alignment systems, as well as the use of computer-analyzing equipment. Upon completion of the program, students will have the opportunity to find employment in automobile dealerships, auto repair shops, and auto specialty repair and service facilities. Students have the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials and college credit.
