Program Overview:
The Cosmetology program is licensed by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology and enables a successful completer to take the board examination to be a licensed cosmetologist. Each student is required to attempt State Board testing in order to receive a career-technical certificate. Licensing opens the door for a lifetime career in one of the nation’s largest skilled occupations. Students have the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials.
Industry Credentials:
License of Cosmetology – 12 Points
OSHA – 10-Hour Training – 1 Point
CPR / First Aid – 1 Point
Ohio Driver’s License – 1 Point
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt – 3 Points
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt – 6 Points
Leadership Excellence – Student – 3 Points
