Once establishing a basic information technology foundation, components will include the security of the network infrastructure, security network systems, and the prevention, detection, and mitigation of common vulnerabilities and attacks. Targeted application centered on securing network resources including infrastructure, operating systems, data, and applications will be emphasized. Our goal is to prepare students for careers as a cybersecurity specialist and a troubleshooter. Training will be ever-changing so that students can break into this rapidly expanding pathway. Students have the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials and college credit.
